Abstract

The E. picinus-complex is discussed and three new species, Enochrus fosteri sp. n., E. frieseri sp. n. and E. lucens sp. n., are described. Enochrus nitidulus (Kuwert) is a junior synonym of E. hesperidum (Sharp), and Enochrus (Methydrus) asperanus Hebauer, 1999 is a junior synonym of E. (Hydatotrephis) hartmanni Hebauer, 1998. A key to all known species of this complex is given and the male genitalia are illustrated.
