Abstract

Es werden Mundwerkzeuge der orthorrhaphen Brachycera (Tabanomorpha und Asilomorpha) aus taxonomischer Sicht und unter spezieller Berücksichtigung des Blutsaugens untersucht. Von 22 Familien werden insgesamt 27 Gattungen und 103 Arten abgehandelt, überwiegend niedere Brachycera (Tabanomorpha).
