Beiträge zur Insektenfauna der DDR: Lepidoptera - Coleophoridae.

Abstract

On the territory of the GDR 125 species of Coleophoridae could be established, and 9 more species are expected to be found there. This survey is based on the author's collection, a revision of all available collections and a critical evaluation of the relevant publications. The distribution, mode of life and food-plants of the Coleophoridae are discussed. A key to the larval cases, arranged according to the food-plants, and a key to the imagoes including the morphology of the genitals are given. The keys illustrated by numerous pictures of cases and drawing of genitals of nearly all the species. Two coulored plates show the fore-wings of 34 species.
