A checklist of the Far East Asian Aphidiidae (Hymenoptera).

Abstract

The present paper critically compiles the information on the Far East Asian Aphidiidae; it aims at elucidating the situation that has developed after several important papers which had been prepared independently of each other were published within a few years. In some cases, a critical comment is included to stress the existing problems. The nomenclatural changes are as follows: Bioxys japonicus Stary & Schlinger, 1967 [= Trioxys (Trioxys) staryi Mackauer, 1968 syn. nov.; = Trioxys machilaphidis Takada, 1968 syn. nov.], Praon flavinode (Halliday, 1833) [= Praon glabrum Stary & Schlinger, 1967], Trioxys (Beluloxys) kamijoi Takada, 1968 comb. nov., Trioxys (Trioxys) shivaphis Takada, 1966 [= Trioxys (Trioxys) luteolus Stary & Schlinger, 1967 syn. nov.].
