Ergebnisse der Albanien-Expedition 1961 des Deutschen Entomologischen Institutes. 96. Beitrag (Coleoptera: Buprestidae).

Abstract

A survey of the distribution of Buprestidae on the Balkan peninsula and a study of the Albanian species of this family are presented. The material collected by the expedition to Albania made in 1961 by Deutsches Entomologisches Institut consists of 62 individuals of 25 species, nine of which are first finds in Albania. In other collections 44 individuals of 27 species were examined. Including the finds given in publications, a total of 90 species of the family Buprestidae are now known from Albania.
