Abstract

This paper deals with 599 specimens of the family Curculionidae that were mainly collected by members of the expedition to Albania made in 1961 by the former Deutsches Entomologisches Institut. Of these species, 17 are to be found on the Balkan peninsula only, and eight only in Albania. One specimen of the genus Chlorophanus probably belongs to a new species which occurs also in Bulgaria and Greece.
