Abstract

There a presented additions and corrections to P. Gilbert: "A Compendium of the Biographical Literature on deceased Entomologists", based on a biographical catalogue in the entomological library of plant protection research. For 1915 of the 7500 entomologists mentioned in Gilbert's compendium more than 3100 additions and corrections proved necessary.
