Revision der Oxypoda formiceticola-Gruppe der Untergattung Demosoma Thomson, 1861 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Aleocharinae).

Abstract

Given for each species are synonymic list, literature, type material, description, biology (including host-bilding), geograhic distribution and distribution of host-ants. All types were revised and lectotypes designated. A key vor the species is given. Based an analysis of numerous characteristics a diagram of phylogenetic relationships is provided. The revised species are shown to be monophyletic. The adelphotaxon Oxypoda haemorrhoa Mannerheim was integrated in this phylogenetic treatment. Some problems are discussed resulting of the consequentic phylogenetic analysis on species level.
