Beiträge zur Insektenfauna der DDR: Coleoptera - Curculionidae (Erirhinae).

Abstract

The sixth contribution concerning the weenils of the GDR deals with the subfamily Erirhinae (= Notarhinae). All species of the Central Europe are discussed, covering12 genera and 53 species. 9 genera and 42 species occur on the territory of the GDR. Each of the Central Europeand,in cases of agricultural or forest pests, economie significance. For the species extant in the GDR the distribution in the 15 districts of the Republic is established. These data were obtained by the study of publications, evaluation of the most important collections and by the author's excursions made specially to the faunistically less explored districts of the GDR.
