Abstract

This paper deals with 215 specimens of 68 species of the family Carabidae that were collected by members of the expedition to Albania made in 1961 by the former Deutsches Entomologisches Institut. Of these species, 14 occur only on the Balkan Peninsula and in the Anatolia, one Bembidion-race is probably distributed in Albania only.
