Aus der Korrespondenz Dejean - Germar, ein Beitrag zur Geschichte der Entomologie.

Abstract

In the archiv of the library of the Institut für Pflanzenschutzforschung in Eberswalde eigth letters are stored written by the French coleopterologist A. Dejean (1780-1845) to the German entomologist E. F. Germar (1786-1853). The first letter dated May 11th 1818 is reproduced in full length and commented. It contains some life dates of the renowned french scientist not known up to now.
