Zur Taxonomie der Gattung Geostiba Thomson, 1858 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Aleocharinae).

Abstract

Four new species are described: Geostiba (Lioglutosipalia) bulbifera sp. n. from Vitosha and Geostiba balcanica sp. n. (subgenus unknown) from Central Stara Planina in Bulgaria, Geostiba (Lioglutosipalia) pacei sp. n. from the Rumanian Carpathians, and Geostiba (Lioglutosipalia) angulata sp. n. from the peak Pop Ivan in the East Carpathian. A redescription is given for Geostiba infirma (Weise). Sipalia ruthena Roubal syn. n. is a new synonym of G. infirma. Lectotypes are designated for Homalota infirma Weise and Sipalia ruthena Roubal. A key is given to the species of the Carpathians.
