The paper informs on enlarged analysis results regarding three years yellow-dish trapping on the phenological base Hohenfinow of the Institute for Plant Protection Research Kleinmachnow. Contrary to the usual practice in plant protection, which mainly restricts to the monitoring of rape pests and aphids, the investigations reported here referred to the beetles and fly species on winter wheat, winter barley and potato, gatering in high amounts in yellow-dish traps too. Altogether, 47 species appreciated to monitoring were registered, among them 15 flies and 15 beetle species, which were continuously recorded in their phenology and their population's dynamics, depicted in tables. Possibilities for increasing the effectiveness of this monitoring method are more profound analyses of trapping in the phenology bases by enlarged capacities for species determination.
