Abstract

The comparative light-catching-research is treating the value of light-catching-techniques in the entomological research by using methodical comparison. A critical review of the two methods used in comparative light-trapping, the joint-method and the rotation method, is given. The rotation-method proved to be more useful. Based on a concise bibliography the present paper discusses the light-trapping-method in comparison with other entomological collecting techniques.
