Beitrag zur Taxonomie und Verbreitung der Gattung Deliphrosoma Reitter, 1909 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Omaliinae).

Abstract

The charakterisation of the genus Deliphrosoma and its systematic position are discussed. A species catalogue of the genus is given. 5 species are redescribed: D. macrocephalum (Eppelsheim), D. mandli (Scheerpeltz), D. lindbergi (Scheerpeltz), D. prolongatum (Rottenberg) and D. fratellum (Rottenberg). Two species are described as new: D. pirinense sp. n. from Bulgarien and D. bakhtiyariense sp. n. from Iran. The following species are placed into synonymy: D. major (Bernhauer) and D. creticum (Scheerpeltz) with D. fratellum (Rottenberg), D. majusculum Fagel with D. mandli (Scheerpeltz). Lectotypus are designated for Lathrimaeum macrocephalum Eppelsheim, 1873, Lathrimaeum prologatum Rottenberg, 1873, Lathrimaeum fratellum Rottenberg, 1874, Arpedium major Bernhauer, 1902, Arpedium fratellum skalitzkyi Bernhauer, 1902, Arpedium weiratheri Scheerpeltz, 1937, Apredium mandli Scheerpeltz, 1937, Arpedium lindbergi Scheerpeltz, 1958 and Arpedium creticum Scheerpeltz, 1958. All revised record are listed, the distribution of the genus is discussed, all distribution data are mapped. A key is provided. The aedeagi of 8 species are figured.
