Beiträge zur Insektenfauna der DDR: Coleoptera - Limnichidae.

Abstract

The species Pelochares versicolor (Waltl, 1838), Limnichus pygmaeus (Sturm, 1807) and Limnichus sericeus (Duftschmidt, 1825) from the family Limnichidae are recorded for the area of the GDR. Besides a revision of the main collections the available literature is analysed. As there are only few old specimens and new records are missing a presend autochton occurence of Pelochares versicolor (Waltl) can be excluded.
