Einschlüsse fossiler Trauermücken (Diptera, Sciaridae) in Baltischem Bernstein aus Kollektionen des Deutschen Entomologischen Institutes Eberswalde.

Abstract

Research of fossil baltic resins of the collektions Carl Börner and Dr. Sergel from German Entomological Institut Eberswalde/Germany yielded to a total of 14 fossil Sciarid flies. The Sciarids were classified as belong to 5 species in 3 genera. One species turned out to be new to science. The authors give a description and pictures of the new taxon †Epidapus menzeli spec. nov. and draw up a list of the other proved sciarids and inclusions.
