Abstract

Five new species from the genus Blaesoxipha Loew are described: B. agnoni sp. n. and B. delmedigoi sp. n. from the South Africa; B. rosenthali sp. n. from the Ivory Coast; B. doumandjii sp. n. and B. mangeri sp. n. from Algeria. Two new name are established: B. pasternaki nom. nov. (pro B. aurulenta sensu Verves, 1985) and B. kafkaiana nom. nov. (pro B. rufipes sensu Verves, 1985). Some key for the determination of the related afro-palaearktical species are given.
