Hypena (Trichypena) leopardina sp. n., eine neue Hypeninae von der Insel Bioco nebst Bemerkungen zu den nächst verwandten Arten der Hypena fusculalis-Gruppe (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae).

Abstract

In the noctuid material collected on the island of Bioco (Guinea) by Timm Karisch, Demitz-Thumitz, Hypena leopardina sp. n. was found as new. The adults, the lateral view of the head and the genitalia structures of both sexes are illustrated. In the subgenus Trichypena Joannis, 1915 the new species is placed near H. fusculalis Saalmüller, 1891.
