On a collection of humble-bees from northern Iran (Hymenoptera: Apoidea, Bombinae).

Abstract

A collection of Bombus and Psithyrus made in the Caspian provinces of northern Iran, chiefly Mazandaran, and in the central Alborz between 1965 and 1968 is recorded. Summaries of the temporal and spatial distributions of the species are given. The collection comprised 576 examples representing 19 species.
