Das zweite Männchen von Sarcophaga palavae Povolný, 1995 (Diptera: Sarcophagidae).

Abstract

The second male of Sarcophaga palavae Povolný, 1995 was recently collected near Brno, southern Moravia. This specimen shows identical genitalic structures as the male holotype collected in summer 1993 in a neighbouring habitat, corroborating definitely the taxonomic validity of this new species. It seems to be a rare taxon which might be distributed also in the adjacent regions in Lower Austria, southern Slovakia and Hungary.
