Abstract

The types of Xyroptila tectonica Meyrick, 1914 and Oxyptilus mycites Meyrick, 1914 were studied. X. tectonica was found to be a new synonym of X. oenophanes Meyrick, 1908. Lectotypes and paralectotypes are designated for tectonica and for oenophanes. The genitalia of tectonica and mycites are figured and described for the first time.
