Abstract

In the general introduction, the components, the history and the degree of inventory registration of the archives of the Deutsches Entomological Institut are outlined. Inventory No. 100 contains the so-called Sachtleben-correspondence, which is both administrative and scientific correspondence, and which includes letters also of other members of the scientific staff of the institute, such as W. Hennig and W. Schwenke. Altogether 8828 letters and postcards sent by 1234 persons ore institutions during the period from 1941 to 1962 are listed.
