Über die Cyphon-Arten Henri Tourniers (Coleoptera: Scirtidae).

Abstract

Based on an examination of syntypes in the Tournier collection (in coll. Pic) the following valid species are recognized: Cyphon laevipennis Tournier, 1868 (= Cyphon phragmiteticola Nyholm, 1955 syn. nov.) and Cyphon siculus Tournier, 1868 (= Cyphon impressus Kiesenwetter, 1871 syn. nov.). Cyphon intermedius Tournier, 1868 (= Cyphon palustris Thomson, 1855) and Cyphon grandis Tournier, 1868 (= Cyphon coarctatus Paykull, 1799) are regarded as new synonyms.
