Neue Arten des Genus Anomala Samouelle, 1819 von Sumatra und der Malayischen Halbinsel sowie Bemerkungen zur Synonymie und Verbreitung einiger Arten (Coleoptera: Melolonthidae: Rutelinae).

Abstract

In the present paper 14 new species of the genus Anomala Samouelle, 1819 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea: Melolonthidae: Rutelinae: Anomalini) from Sumatra and Peninsular Malaysia are described: Anomala flavolineata sp. n. (W-Malaysia, Perak), Anomala inexpecta sp. n. (S-Sumatra), Anomala mirabilis sp. n. (W-Malaysia), Anomala neglecta sp. n. (O-Sumatra), Anomala minangorum sp. n. (W-Sumatra), Anomala dissimilis sp. n. (W-Malaysia), Anomala kalliesi sp. n. (W-Sumatra), Anomala diehli sp. n. (W-Sumatra), Anomala nikodymi sp. n. (W-Sumatra), Anomala bernhardti sp. n. (W-Malaysia), Anomala malayensis sp. n. (W-Malaysia, Perak), Anomala eventifera sp. n. (Sumatra-Aceh), Anomala ketambeana sp. n. (Sumatra-Aceh), Anomala viridibrunnea sp. n. (Sumatra-Aceh). Moreover the male of Anomala vellicata Ohaus is described which was unknown so far. The male genitalia of all new species and of Anomala vellicata Ohaus, Anomala sawahana Ohaus and Anomala fulvofusca Ohaus are figured. Anomala psittacina Ohaus (= Anomala monochroa (Bates)) and Anomala hera Ohaus (= Anomala saetipes Ohaus) are considered junior synonyms. The species Anomala hoplites Ohaus, Anomala tricolorea Ohaus and Anomala fulvofusca Ohaus are reported from Sumatra for the first time. Lectotypes are designated for Anomala saetipes Ohaus, Anomala psittacina Ohaus, Anomala hoplites Ohaus, Anomala tricolorea Ohaus and Anomala fulvofusca Ohaus.
