Casebearers (Lepidoptera: Coleophorinae) of Far East region of Russia. I.

Abstract

The present paper is based on material collected by the second author during the expedition to the Russian Far East in the summer of 1994, as well as some material of other collectors from the same region, including material from the Far East expedition 1993 of the DEI Eberswalde, supported by the German Research Society (DFG). In all almost 900 specimens were examined. Seven species are described here as new for science – Coleophora teregnathella, C. kononenkoi, C. okuella, C. raphidon, C. irinae, C. parki, C. napolovi. 42 previously known species were identified, of which five are new for the fauna of Asia.
