Gasteruption phragmiticola sp. n., eine neue Gasteruption-Art aus Deutschland (Hymenoptera: Evanioidea: Gasteruptionidae).

Abstract

Gasteruption phragmiticola sp. n. is described from Germany as a new species. The wasp looks rather like Gasteruption subtile (Thomson, 1883) but differs in some important characteristics, e. g. in surface structure of mesonotum. Gasteruption phragmiticola inhabits reeds and obviously develops in nests of the masked bee Hylaeus pectoralis Förster, 1871 (Apidae, Colletinae). So far, the species has been recorded from 6 federal states of Germany.
