Abstract

Extra-mediterranean centres of areas of Trichoptera of the European Dinodal. The analysis of distribution areas of stenochorous Trichoptera species results in the discovery of a minimum of 13 refugial centres in Central Europe (outside any traditionally known other refugia) which are situated in the Massif Central, in parts of the French and Swiss Jura, in the Black Forest and the Vosges, in the surroundings of Grenoble, in the region of the North Italian Lakes, in the Lessinian Alps, around the Karawanken, in the eastern Styrian mountains, in the High Tatra, in the region of ernogora, Rodna and Maramure, in the Bihor Mts and in the southern Carpathians.
