Abstract

For the two Theronia species, which occur in Germany, an identification key and redescriptions are presented. Published faunistic data and newly identified material are summarized in a checklist for the German federal states. Th. atalantae (Poda, 1761) is known from the most German federal states, Th. laevigata (Tschek, 1869) with few specimens from southern and central Germany only.
