Zur Kenntnis der Adoretinen Madagascars (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae, Rutelinae, Orthochilidae).

Abstract

On comparative morphologic investigations about the species of the genus Adorodocia Brenske these species turned out to be not immediately related. They must be divided into 2 new genera, Paradorodocia and Metadorodocia, the letter of which is much related to the genus Adoretus. Adorodocia and Adoroleptus Brenske form a natural group, Adoroleptus having retained the plesiomorphic characters in the primary shape. By their natural relationship all these genera form with Adoretus a natural group of higher rank, the subtribus Adoretina.
