Neue und wenig bekannte Elateriden aus der Ukraine (Coleoptera: Elateridae).

Abstract

There are described 3 new species of Elateridae from South of the European USSR, 2 of which belonging to the genus Cardiophorus, the third one to Agriotes. Besides this the author gives details on morphology, ecology, taxonomy and distribution of 4 rarely known species of Elateridae of the Ukrainian fauna and describes the larvae of Leptoschema candezei Rtt., Agriotes medvedevi n. sp., and A. ponticus Step. and paratypes of the species described here are in the author's collection and in the collec-tions of the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Leningrad.
