Abstract

By a critical revision of the hitherto published details on external characters and genitalia structures the author gives detailed notes on the forewing coloration and genitalia of Monopis rusticella Hb., M. weaverella Scott, and M. spilotella Tgstr. in order to facilitate the determination of these three related species. There is stated Tinea biflavimaculella Clemens from North America being a synonym of Monopis spilotella Tgstr.
