Gallmilben an Kiefer (Acarina: Eriophyidae).

Abstract

Based upon literature and the author's experiences there are given notes on distribution and appearance of the hitherto known biotypes of Eriophyes pini Nal. The results of a two years' infection experiment in an insectary make it probable that the free living "pine needle mite" of the American authors, which was found also in Central Europe, may be a biotype of Er. pini Nal.
