Pharaoameisen in Bienenstöcken (Hymenoptera: Formicidae).

Abstract

There are recorded 3 cases of the occurence of the Pharao ant (Monomorium pharaonis L.) found in samples of dead honey bees. The possibility is discussed, wether these ants might appear in beehives.
