Abstract

The above paper deals with 16 species parasitizing eggs, larvae, and pupae of Rhyacionia buoliana Schiff. The most frequent parasites of the larvae are Orgilus obscurator Nees (more than 50%) and the Tachinid fly Actia nudibasis Stein (15,4%). In experiments with Trichogramma embryophagum Htg. reared from eggs of Sitotroga cerealella Oliv. A parasitization of 94% (parasite-host proportion 1:3), from eggs of Panolis flammea Schiff. a parasitization of 81% (parasite-host proportion 1:32,5) was obtained. Tr. evanescens Westw. showed a parasitization of only 28% (para-site-host proportion 1:3).
