The above publication deals with the Plecoptera collected by the Albania Expedition of the German Entomologisches Institut. It is the first review on the Plecoptera of this country and therefore of course incomplete. 6 species were found 5 of which are widely distributed in Europe. One, however, Protonemura albanica sp. belongs to the mediterranean group of Protonemura-species which contains related species in North Africa. There is also reinvestigated Isoperla graeca Aub. which was found only a geographical subspecies of Isoperla tripartita Illies [= Isoperla graeca Aub. = Isoperla tripartita graeca Aub.]. A list of Plecoptera known from the neighbouring countries and probably present in Albania too, is included.
