Über die Kategorisierung der Zoozönosen.

Abstract

There are discussed the problems of zoocoenological work by means of a critical survey of the investigations carried out upto now and the false conclusions caused by overextimating the methods of phytocoenology. Szelenyi's zoocoenological categories are critically discussed. As a result of the author's studies there are proposed new categories of the zoocoenoses and new methods for the investigations. The following new categories are distinguished: Catena, Catenarium, Supercatenarium, Presozium, Synsozium, Presozion, Sozium and Supersozium.
