Abstract

The genus Onesia of the Calliphoridae has six species in the palaearctic region: O. sepulcralis (Meigen); O. austriaca Villeneuve; О. canescens Villeneuve; О. hokkaidensis (Baranov); О. kowarzi Villeneuve and O. zumpti n. sp. The revision concentrated on the diagnosis of the genus and the characteristics of the different species. O. zumpti was described as a new species. 0. hendeli Villeneuve is a syn. nov. of O. kowarzi Villeneuve.
