Abstract

An evaluation of the studies of Pongracz (1923) and Navas (1923) showed that two of the species collected in the expedition to Albania by Deutsches Entomologisches Institut (Nemoura cinerea cinerea Retzius and Perla marginata Panzer) had been found in Albania before. Thus the material of this expedition contained only 3 findings new in the fauna of Albania. Supposing that the other species mentioned by Pongräcz were determined correctly, which cannot now be verified because his material was destroyed, a total of 12 species of Plecoptera has been found in Albania.
