Bulgaroperla mirabilis gen. n., sp. n.: eine Steinfliegengattung von der Balkanhalbinsel (Plecoptera).

Abstract

In this paper the new genus and species Bulgaroperla mirabilis gen. nov., sp. n. is described. According to its morphological features this new species known from Bulgaria (Stara planina, Sliven), belongs to the subfamily Isoperlinae Frison. The genus forms a link (see the wing nervation figs 1-2) between the genera of the subfamilies Isogeninae Ricker and Isoperlinae Frison. Also the distribution of the Perlodidae in Europe is dealt with. Finally a determination key for the genera (short-winged and long-Avinged species) is submitted.
