Abstract

The material collected by the expedition to Albania by Deutsches Entomologisches Institut contained 32 Pompilidae (19 species) and 1 Ceropalidae, including 14 species found for the first time in the fauna of Albania. Arachnospila fuscomarginata Thomson is new for the Balkan peninsula. Thus there are now known from Albania 35 species of the family Pompilidae and 2 species of the family Ceropalidae.
