Zur Kenntnis der Statinia-Arten aus der UdSSR (Diptera: Sciomyzidae).

Abstract

A revision of the collection of the genus Statinia in the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and in the Institute of Zoology and Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Estonian SSR revealed 4 species and 1 subspecies of this genus from the USSR S. usuriensis and S. marginata pontica are described as new. Numerous new faunistic data establish the eastern limits of the distribution of the westpalaearctic species S. catenata Loew, S. cincta Fabricius and S. marginata Fabricius.
