Schmiedeknechts Ichneumonidentypen aus der Kollektion des Museums Rudolstadt (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae).

Abstract

For this paper 74 individuals from 60 Ichneumonidae species of typoid value from part of the collection of the well-known hymenopterologist, Prof. O. Schmiedeknecht, were evaluated with regard to nomenclature and taxonomy. As the result of these studies, 11 new synonyms, 27 new combinations of names and 30 lectotypes are established. The types of these species had been reportet as missing and were found only recently at Rudolstadt. Their future keeping has not been decided on. Also some species from other collections are discussed which are connected with species of the Rudolstadt collection. A systematic table makes it easy to survey the types studied here which comprise about one third of the Ichneumonidae species described by Schmiedeknecht.
